Great Finnish scifi parody free to download!!!

Have you heard about the finnish fan-made non-profit scifi-parody-movie 'Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning' yet? It's a full length movie and it's available for download free of charge!

You can download the whole movie here: www.starwreck.com

I haven't finished watching the movie yet, but the beginning was great! The humor is outstanding, and because it's spoken in finnish I don't have to read subtitles! You can download various versions from the site, with or without subtitles etc.

Download immediately! Have fun!

Yes, I've heard about it. For a while there I was even trying to buy their DVD. It took me a while to figure out they didn't ship to the US. After I learned that I was trying for a while to get someone over there to help me get a copy. That sort of stopped when I learned they didn't offer an NTSC (I think I've got that right) copy, so that I wouldn't be able to play it even if I had it. I still want to see it but I don't know if my computer at home can handle downloading a full length movie, and even if I could I'm not sure I'd want to watch it sitting at my PC. Do you have the DVD? Are you capable of making a NTSC VHS copy? If so let me know and maybe we could work something out.

The other thing I'm thinking about and I've mentioned this here:

I'm currently looking at buying an HD TV in the near future. Would I be able to watch a PAL DVD on it? I assume I'd need a PAL DVD player atleast. Is there such a thing as a DVD player that plays both NTSC and PAL? If so it would be something I'd consider getting as there are some other PAL DVDs I've seen that I'd be interested in picking up if I had a way to watch them.

Carl

The download file size is about 550 Mb. I first downloaded the movie with my mom's Pentium Pro/Win 95 machine with 64Mb RAM and 512 Mb broadband connection. The machine performed the download well, but when I tried to watch the movie the computer crashed after a half an hour, maybe because of the lack of memory. I downloaded the movie again with this computer (AMD Athlon 1500+/Windows98SE/256MB RAM), watched a bit from the beginning and everything worked well.

I don't have the DVD, I'm not sure if it's even for sale yet. I prefer downloading the movie because my TV screen is 14" and my PC screen is 15"... in Windows Media Player full screen mode the movie's in a reasonable size. The humming of the PC fans is one thing that annoys me, but that's something I can't stop.

NTSC/PAL... why does it have to be multiple modes like this? One should be enough. All the NTSC tapes (for example Late Night with Conan O'Brien) look horrible when converted to PAL and are shown on TV. Everything is fuzzy and blur. order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
