In Memory of Jordan Taylor Pauley (10/30/04)

on Sunday, October, 30, 2005 2:25 PM
I know it's been a while since I've been here in the Sector, and I apologize for my absence. It's been a busy couple of weeks, and this past week has just been a tough one.

Today, especially, is a bittersweet day for Tara and me. Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day we lost our son, Jordan Taylor.

It's bittersweet because we try to remember all the good that his little life brought and because we prepare for the coming of Cameron Blake, yet we still feel the grief from the loss of our little angel.

The key thing to remember is how loved and missed he is by so many, both within my family and closest friends and by so many here on these boards.

Tara and I both want to thank you for your support in the loss of, and celebration of, our beautiful son. As I said last year, just knowing that there are good people out there who genuinely care for others makes losing a loved one that much more bearable.

From the photos/artwork to the notes, from the unique displays of support to the prayers and posts offering love and compassion, we thank you all for being the kind, good-hearted people you are. There aren't enough of you in the world, so I feel honored to know the ones gathered here.

Today, just take time out to tell someone in your life, be it friend or family, just how much you appreciate and love them.

We love and appreciate all of you and your help and prayers during this past year.

Thanks for that, as you'll never know just how much they helped. If I could, I'd give you all a hug. Hopefully we'll have some sort of gathering and I'll be able to.

We love you, Jordan. Thanks for so much from someone so little.
