I know this probably belongs in the 2.0 Forum but I wanted to see how many people that frequet this forum still play Tron 2.0?
I fired it up for the first time last night for some awesome single player action. When I went to multiplayer there were about 16 servers but no one was on.
Just wondered if anyone here has a scheduled play time or if there are any regular meets like 'Grid Night Saturday" or something?
Seems like even though Tron 2.0 is out of the mainstream since many people were not aware of patches to the multi that we here in this community can still get some games going.

It's been this way for quite a while. Only dedicated Tron fans still play, probably.
I hate to re-open old wounds, but since you asked . . . I think we can thank BVG for their poor support, on this. I don't care if sales were good or bad, they have a responsibility to support customers of the game. Even now.
But if you go to tron20.net there's no link to a patch or anything helpful, any more. And you absolutely need the latest patch to play online. So if people don't know where to find it . . . it doesn't help matters. They've left it up to the fan community to support the game. Nice.
On a more positive note: there's no weekly get-together at this time, but maybe there should be. I'm sure something could be arranged, where at least all the Tron-Sector members try to hop on the grid at the same time?

I see people in LC games alot. I am usually on around 10ish EST. I have to resolve a video issue with my new 6600GT turning itsself off when I play Tron 2.0, so, as soon as I do, I'll be online normally.

I thinkwe should have a weekly, Biweekly, or monthly gaming sessions here. Even if it is for fun of playing tron. I had even offered at one point Ithink to keep track of the stats. And have tehm reposted for all to view. All for fun and just to keep track of things. Kind of like what Unreal tournament has in their game. For both light cycles, and Disk arenas that are still around.

I still play TRON 2.0 - I LOVE that game!
I play the single player adventure from time to time, usually just playing a little at a time and spreading out the adventure over a long duration.
Most of the time (when time allows, that is), I find myself on the multi-player light cycle game grid!
There's just NOTHING like rezzing in on the game grid and enjoying some high-speed light cycle action with fellow TRON fans and friends!
I was on just last night (under an obscure name) and met up with another very skilled player. We went head to head for a few circuits. Didn't recognize the other name, but I recognized those moves! It was GREAT fun competing one on one with such a skilled opponent. He bested me most of the time, but there were a lot of great moves on both our parts and there's just NOTHING like a good take down - win or loose!
Yeah - I just LOVE the light cycle game grid! NEVER get bored of it. I only wish I had more time for it... and I wish there were more people out there and more frequently. A lot of times, I just find cold, empty servers out there.
But yeah, I still play TRON 2.0 and probably will for a long, long time to come!

I only have it for the X-Box. Odd thing about me is that when I leave a video game, I rarely, if ever come back to it. The exception to that has been Ico which I have replayed three times.

I fixed my Vcard, the instructions didn't have the words, "plug the PCU into the slot on the end of the card". So now I'm dealing the derezolutions.
Just so you know, there was a avaerage of 6 players on DA last night, from 11:00 pm. est. till past 3:12 am, when I logged off. it was a blast!

They were awesome games. Multiplayer Lightcycles. Its like I finally got to play on a real gamegrid.

I've played some Lightcycles and some disc arena online.
The Lightcycles are hard at high pings though.
If you get a sub 100ping server they are real fun.

I just got off the game grid about 20 minutes ago.
Had a blast, as usual!
If you've got TRON 2.0 and love light cycles (who doesn't love light cycles?) - you really should hit the light cycle game grid!
Don't forget to let people know when you'll be on the game grid here:
http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default.aspx?do=top&id=283524
Of course, if the disc is more your weapon of choice, there's plenty-o-action in the DA and DM servers!

I've had the game for about a year and a half, and I still play it from time to time. I have the Mac ported version and I really only play the adventure mode. ...never been big on online gaming (which is rather ironic considering the very premise of Tron). But Next to Alien vs. Predator 2 it's my favorite game on the Mac.
