I got made redundant today, the company lost there contract and felt they couldnt afford the one and only system administrator they had. So I am not looking for new work probably going to have a go at teaching its something I wanted to do for a while

I'm sorry to hear the bad news, laphtiya. Perhaps things will pick up there and they can bring you back on board sometime. 
In the mean time, it sounds like you'll have an opportunity to look in to a teaching gig for a while. You may find that to be a rewarding experience.

Very sorry to hear that, but as someone who has had experieince with bad news on the job front in the last year, I can say that there is a silver lining in there someplace if you look for it.

That is true Dave. Everything comes in threes these days. There was me. Then you and then Nikster as well at one point who had lost their jobs. And rebounded back into the work force. I am really sorry to hear that your job has been made redundant there laphtiya Maybe this is an omen to something even better like you had mentioned there in teaching. I ahve a job ooportunity over here that I am getting an interview with throughh a prodigy of mine over ehre at Pratt and Whittney. I am not satisfied with my current work that I am doing right now myself. So something good will come out of everyhthing here. You'll see it will happen.
