Don't be sorry. You just needed clarification, but fortunately, I figured out what you were trying to say.

Ah, the 65 episode rule. That's standard practice in the industry.

The minimum number of episodes for a show to go into syndication, is 65 episodes. (Syndication basically meaning: re-runs distributed all over the world.)

So that's why many companies stop making new episodes of a show, once they hit that number.

Believe me, it's not just Disney that does this.

If a show is extremely successful, then the company that makes the show may decide the expense of making more episodes is worth it.

But a lot of companies look at how a show is doing, and if it's doing okay but not spectacular . . . they'll just say "we've got enough for syndication now", and pull the plug at 65 episodes. They can make plenty more profit by distributing the show in other markets (where it's "new" to those people), while spending little to no additional money.

A similar thing happened with Paramount and Star Trek: Enterprise. Once they had enough episodes for syndication, they cancelled the show.

That's showbiz.

Having been on the shaft end at Disney, I harbor no illusions. Seeing how they treat Steven makes me love them that much less!

Yeah, RE: Gabe's art being used... it sucks. If it was accidental (e.g., Disney's left arm not talking to the right arm), then I'm more forgiving. Not a lot, but a little. However, if it was knowingly used after the break-up of 88MPH and Disney, I just think it's wrong. Way wrong.

I'm not surprised at how big business works. But I am dissapointed sometimes.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
