Free RAR extraction utility?

on Sunday, July, 24, 2005 2:31 PM

Does anyone know of a free, reliable .rar extraction utility out there? I have used winrar and it's shareware (wants money after a certain number of days).

I am looking for one that is free.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Maybe you'd like to give ZipGenius a try. 100% Freeware. It also handles other popular formats of compressed archives.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Well, it says it's going to end... but that's a good question. I'm not really looking to rip off software developers, though. I just want something else... free

Thanks Space Cowboy, I will give Zipgenuis a try.

How about 7-Zip. It's completely free. Not only can it extract .RAR files, it can handle .ZIPs and a lot of other formats too.

Plus it has its own compression called .7z that wipes the floor with most other compression formats. Even WinRAR, sometimes.
