Those are excellent renderings of Astromech droids! 
Man - I would LOVE to have a life size replica of my own R2 unit! I know people have made them - even seen the photos of the making of them in progress. BUT they're VERY expensive.

Cool. Gotta love R2.
I've got a few R2's in my collection. I would love to get the red and black Death Star R5-Q5, and some of the other R units they released a while back for the toy line. The coolest R2 I have is a phone. He lights up and bleeps. He's next to my computer desk atop my book shelf hanging out with Blinky.

Y'know, I'm looking at R2-A6 and thinking to myself that with his coloring scheme he really should be designated R2-D4. He has a white body, silver dome and his color plates match those of the other R2-Dn units.
