Everybody Wang Chung Tonight!
I know Todd shares my interest in the music of Wang Chung to a certain extent. I am wondering if anyone got a chance to check them out last Thursday night on Hit Me Baby, One More Time on NBC?
The Played Everybody Have Fun Tonight and then for their modern hit cover It's Getting Hot In Here by Nelly. They looked pretty good.
Being a bit of an old fart, I am having fun seeing some of my old favorites showing up on TV again.
So far, A Flock Of Seagulls, Loverboy, Cameo, Tommy Tutone, The Motels, Wang Chung, and one of my all time faves, The Knack have appeared.
Next week is Glass Tiger and Greg Kihn. I have heard Night Ranger might also appear. It's kind of fun to watch, but a little embarrasing for certain performers too.
Worth a watch if you get time, but ignore the idiot host. Wherever they found this dweeb, they should put him back. Loser!where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I've been hearing about this show, so I'm glad to get someone's reaction to it!
I really wanted to see The Motels, as I think that band covering "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones is an interesting concept!
Thanks for the feedback from a true 80s fan, DaveTRON! It's appreciated!

Vanilla Ice kicked serious butt a week ago. Nobody even came close.
I always did like "Ice Ice Baby"; and it's not a guilty pleasure it's just a good song.

Ahhhhhhh!
I missed it?
SOB!
Damn!
I don't regularly watch the series, but a guy at work (who shares my love of the 80's) was telling me that Wang Chung was going to be featured soon on the show. I COMPLETELY forgot to watch!
The song "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" has been buzzing in my head on and off for over a year, as I've been slowly working on a very short animated video project that features this song.
Damn! I missed it!
Click my profile and wait for a moment or two (or several moments on dial-up) for a little taste of Wang Chung... Todd style-e!

I've seen it, but missed the Wang Chung episode. Someone at work said it was a good show. I thought Flock Of Seagulls was terrible. They just plain sounded awful. Same with Loverboy.
I thought the Knack still sounded good and so far Arrested Development seemed to be having the most fun.
Tiffany seemed bloated. Did she just have a baby or something?
Also, it seems like the bands sound better covering other songs than on their own. Anyone else notice that?

I think The Knack was held back by the format of the show and that crappy stage. They are an awesome live band and I have probably seen them close to 20 times in my life.
I agree Vanilla Ice was good, despite my complete dislike of his music, but The Knack could wipe the floor with him in a full show.
The Motels were pretty good. Martha has the stuff. Never seen 'em live though.
I only saw Wang Chung's second song, the redo of the rap song they tried. It was good. I will try to tape the replay next week and post a vid if desired. Rumor has it they are working on a sixth album now. I have their other five and they are all good.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I caught the Wang Chung episode. It was great. Didn't see their second song cause I was getting some acrylics ready for a painting.
It's funny how VH1 nominated songs like "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" on a worst songs of all time list, cause judging by the peoples reaction on the show, they loved every minute of every song.
Yeah Dave, that host is rather annoying.
