I have sold some weird stuff on Ebay for big bucks. Sometimes strange items are in demand.

$25 for three old watch tins. Nothing special, just watch tins. Got a wild hair to post 'em, figure I'd make $5 and bingo, $25.

I sold a set of instructions for a 3D visor I used to have. Again, figured $5 at most. 35 people bid and it went for over $75 bucks.

I am telling you, there is someone out there for every item.

HOLY COW!

Oh my User!

Of all the obscure things I never thought ANYONE else would actually own...

I actually know what these things are!

I had a wicked flash back to the early/mid 80's when I saw the image you posted, Nikster!

And how fitting, this should be brought up on TRON-Sector - because there is a computer tie-in to this item.

You see, these little "rocks" are actually Wishbringer Stones!

Yes!

Wishbringer is a text-based computer adventure game that I had... STILL have for my Apple //c computer!

I am amazed that anyone actually still had any of these... though it's odd someone ended up with THREE. The game only came with one.

And yes, it does indeed glow purple! This was the first ever glowing object I ever saw that did not glow green.

And here you have it, folks. My VINTAGE, 20+ year old Wishbringer map and Wishbringer stone! Surprisingly enough, BOTH items were STILL in my computer stand... which is also 20 years old

Wow - you really took me back on a trip through memory lane, Nikster! Honestly, I was never much a fan of this game, I wasn't in to text based adventure games much at all. Someone gave this to me on the condition I let them play through it on my computer first. And now I kind of have the urge to play the game again! All I really remember about it was the Wishbringer stone, vague memories of having to navigate using the map grid, and something about a dog that was always barking at you.

Well, now you know what the objects are. And again, I am very surprised to see that someone else not only managed to save theirs... but also managed to get more than one of them!

It was a good game. In fact, it was one of my favorite c64 games. I'm kinda thinking of bidding on those stones...I lost mine years ago

Still not sure what I'll do with 50 of them, but if nothing else maybe the cats will like them???

Anyone know if those stones float? If not they might look cool in an aquarium.

Just a thought,
Carl
