Okay, I'm working on a oil pastel image of a theater that's back home. I've decided to date the picture a little by having the theater listing displaying Forbidden Planet, which would place the image in 1956. I need another movie title to palce as a "Coming Friday" movie. I've looked on the net and found "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" was also released in 56, but then which movie came first?
Anyone know the answer to this or mabey a better movie title to go with Forbidden Planet that was released around the same time as it?

imdb.com says that Forbidden Planet was released on 15 March 1956
Whereas Invasion Of The Body Snatchers was released on 5 February 1956
You can sort by year on imdb.com, to see everything that was released that year. Then under the film itself, look on the left hand side for the "release dates" link and it will tell you when it came out.

Heh, found the release date search feature. Makes things alot easier. Found one film "When Gangland Strikes." Guess I could choose some other movies for the main feature on the theater, but I'm settled on Forbiddeon Planet. I've used up enough time doing searches and need to finish this before Monday.
