I'm sorry you didn't get the job, Kamui
But you did seem to rank pretty high and must have made a good impression if the interviewer said he'd put in a recommendation on another job for you.
You may still get something out of this yet.

Kamui, I am sorry as well that you didn't get the job either on this like what The realtodd had mention as well. But if I may bring some personal experience that I have over 8 years ago. When I went for a job interview wat back in 97 for the computer programming position where I am currently work for now. I had a similar lexperience like you did. I didn't get the job that I was hoping for at that time. But Was going to be put ona recommendation for another that would come up that would rank right up there with what I already knew. Sure enough within about a month or so. Luckily I was still doing wacky hours in the warehouse. So it was paying the bills during that time still in the company.
I was given second wind to the position that the IT at the time to be given a shot. And I did do well. for a little while but during that time th IT manager and I didn't get along too well at the end. and I had to leave the situation. But in basics here. And without going into more complications here. Maybe they have job that is coming up in their human resources that you are still way more qualified for with what you have there. And I mean what you are qualified to do and not directly related with HR. Does that make any sense.

Well..... today's monday and I just heard back from them. It truns out that I didn't get the job. I placed 2nd out of the three that applied. But the interviewer did say that he was going to put in a recomendation for the other jobs I applied for... despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to do that.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Well.... something very interesting happened! You see... yesterday's interview, I didn't think I did well because the interviewers paused in strange places and it was kinda awkward. I tried to do the best with the pauses but it just felt weird. I later on learned (From a friend) that some interviewers pause like that as a test on what I would do with that pause. After he said that, then I felt quite stupid. But here's where it gets a little interesting. Just a few moments ago, I just got a call about that job and it turns out I got the job! They're offering it to me.... and that was the one I thought I did the worst on! Kinda weird how stuff works..... ^^;;;

Congrats! I do hate it when people play mind games in interviews though. I dont think that's very appropriate.

As long as they aren't like , , , or I think things are going to be okay. ^^
(BTW, I think we need a proper Dillenger digicon. It seems rather silly to use a desk to represent him.... ^^;; )
