Hello everyone. I hope someone else remembers the hype over the uk 2001 census all us brits should have completed 4 years ago. Well, I remember it becuse there was a paticular question change which made it possible for a religion to be conceived -- if over 10,000 members of a religion claimed of their faith - it was official.
In 2001 there were 390,127 registered Jedi knights in the UK, a greater population than the Jewish community, 259,927.
Isn't that cool, 400,000 jedis in the UK, you'd never have thought..... I think i know a couple families who helped this it was dead funny!

Well i think this is bloody funny, and I never folowed it up until today, but heres some facts about the British jedis:
-Out of the 52,041,914 people in England and wales 390,127 are jedis
-Thats 0.7% of the population
-Brighton has the greatest percentage of jedis-2.6%
-Where i live there are 1,290 jedis, 0.9% of our popluation.
-My town is rated the 99th most jedi inhabited area.

It makes a bizare amount of sense strangely enough. The Jedi religion is acutally based off of many religions including budisim. So really, I'm not too fazed by this. We actually had a look at this back when I was still in sociology. I mean they could hve called that religion anything. But they chose Jedi. Hm......
