Got my birthday gifts a few days early since my parents will be out of town for a week or so.
Got the Incredibles widescreen DVD.
Got to see the movie for the first time and loved every minute of this cgi masterpiece of storytelling. Brad Bird your freakin awsome!
Got two 1:18 scale model cars that are very worthy or mention, which I also took photos of.
First one is the 1:18 scale die cast metal 1963 Chrysler Turbine car. Check it out. (Complete with facts about this amazing car.)
Only 50 1963 Turbines were built, Today only 5 exist, two of which Chrysler owns and displays. The other 45 were crushed or melted to avoid paying import tariffs on their Italian-built bodies. The Chryser Turbine Car could run on any flammable liquid. At one point or another, Turbine Cars were run, without adjustments, on unleaded gas, kerosene, jet fuel, home heating oil, peanut oil, tequila and even Chanel No. 5.The turbine engines that Chrysler designed for automotive use are based on the same principals as turbine engines used in aviation.
Now to show the other 1:18 scale die cast metal car. This one will be hard to top on my list for quite some time for it's a personal favorite.
