I got the DVD of The Ice Pirates today, I'm a bit of an 80s film fan and when I saw this was being released I got it having not seen it before.
Quite cheesy and very 80s sci-fi but in the middle of watching the film this very familiar sound came out, had to rewind it to make sure I wasn't hearing things, I wasn't, during a scene where they escape on futuristic motorbikes (normal bikes with grey plastic panels added) the sound of the Lightcycles taking off is heard!

Yeah, totally a guilty pleasure movie. That's the one with Robert Urich right? I dig that flick. People underestimate the power of cheese!

I never saw this movie, it is more, I not wise that existed!!! (Sorry I´m in Mexico)  
For what I can see of her, it is a movie with the class of style that pleases me, I want see this movie
