Reminded me of the days when my friends and I would spend hours copying game programs from computer magazines into a TSR-80 or Vic 20.

Oh man, and the Commodore 64... that was a really big jump in computing power, especially for gaming. There were some very cool games for the C64. F-19 Stealth Fighter, PHM Pegasus, the SSI Gold Box AD&D games, Aliens (a very cool game based on the movie), Maniac Mansion... Halarious! And good music!

You know what was the worst? Programming machine language code from magazines with their crappy debugger. Man, talk about frustration. Of course, good practice for what I do today.

Haaaaaaaaaaa!

That was awesome!

Oh man - brings back SO many memories!

But I had a whopping 64k in my Commodore 64, and a mind boggling 128k in my Apple //c!

The games were all pretty basic... and LOADS of fun!

That was a great tribute to the classic days of computing and gaming!

- how true, how true! Back in the day, people knew how to manage memory limitations and squeeze every BIT (pun intended) of processing power out of computers that had far less processing power than most modern mobile phones!
