Hi all. Normally I would not be incommuicado for so long on this board but I had an emergency a few months ago. While visiting my parents in Maryland I developed a ruptured ulcer in my stomach and nearly bled to death. I was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery but there was extensive damage to some of my internal organs. Right now I am at my parents observing Thanksgiving but will be returning to the hospital shortly as there are still insurance issuses I must work out as well as coordinating medical care and travel clearances so I can return home to Los Angeles. I want to thank everyone here for the many times I came here and found true friendship and comaraderie. This site and everyone involved is yet one more thing I have to be thankful for and hopefully I will be able to talk to you all again real soon.

I wish nothing but good health for you and hope that everything turns out well. I know how it is, having a medical condition that keeps you away from things for a bit, and the need to reach out while you do your best to recover. Just know that you'll always have a place here for that when you need it. Please keep us all informed of how you're doing and come back whenever you can. Take care.
