Sweet, I just noticed the Hollywood Theater in Portland ( http://www.hollywoodtheatre.org/calendar/tron.html)has a link back to Tron-Sector here:

I just called and listened to their recorded message and it appears they only have a 5:50pm showing on Friday  , so I'm not quite sure if we'll hit that one -- since it'll be rush hour traffic time. We may need to wait until 1/1 to see this (when we drive back from Eugene). They have 3, 5, 7 and 9pm showings on Saturday and Sunday. Please double-check these showtimes yourself if you're going, as I don't want to be responsible for you missing TRON!

Well, I saw Tron in the Hollywood Theater (Portland, OR) over the weekend!! It must have been the more recent (good) print, Dave, because the quality was quite good, as opposed to being a struggle to watch. The black colors seemed to be black to me -- not red.
It was great to see it in the theater, that's for sure! I wish I lived down there so I could see it a few more times before it goes away.
One thing annoyed me, though: some guy kept making overtly rude chuckles and comments throughout the film. He wasn't being too loud, as he was mainly doing it to show how 'above' (*lifts nose*) the film he was to his date or wife or whoever he was with, but loud enough for me to hear all his pokes at the film. I was this close --->

That's very cool! I am looking forwad to seeing what you got.
I am glad it was the good print and that you had a fairly good experieince. We had the loons in the crowd down here too, and you just have to block them out.
