I tried the patch and it doesn't work. I don't know if there's anything I can do. I am running DSL and I know that it is fast enough. Everytime I try to fix it no one appears to play against. Patch loaded Tron 2.1.042.
Am I doing this right? I have been a fan of Tron since 1982 when the movie came out...
Please help!!!!

Ok, in the tron menu (single player multi player one) what version does it say in top right hand corner?
Also which patch did you use? The official one or the unofficial?

I am going to check it out when I get home from work and see what version I have on the players menu. The version I downloaded came from this website under file Archive.

I used the cumulative patch to get my multi-player mode to work.

Just download and install the patch. BUT be advised that any saved game data you may have in the single player adventure will no longer work after installing the patch because it is not compatible. If you're still working your way through the single player adventure, you may want to hold off on the patch until you've solved the game for the first time.
Of course, you can save NEW games just fine after installing the patch, JUST your OLD game save data will not work.
And like Corruption mentioned - it's a good idea to check out tronfaq's unofficial FAQ. BTW - tronfaq goes by the name redrain85 here at The Sector. LOADS of helpful information in his FAQ.

I checked the load screen in the game and it says that I have TRON v1.042. I will down load the V1.042C version as TODD suggested.
So far the info sounds good .. Thanks alot for the help.
I will let you know how it works out. On single player I am on the Derez section where the transport is derezing behind me...

Ok you are all up to date if it says 1.42.
I saw a 'Light Cycle' in the game tonight (infact still online, but away from keyboard the entire time I was playing), did you get it working?

I did get online last night. I didi play a few games last night also. I kept getting creamed online so I went to the light cycle area off line to correct it.
I still have a problem getting on the Disc arena's. I would find some one online and then my screen would go blsck but the sound would play. Does that mean that I do not have their map?
