Does anyone else here at TS watch this show on VH1?
I have seen several episodes and I really enjoy it. Probably because they cover some of my favorite 80's bands, but it's really got something.
This week they did Scandal and Vixen.
Patty Smythe from Scandal was one of my favorite singers from those days, whatta babe back then. Not bad now, but when she was younger, wow!
Vixen I liked for one song and one song only back then, but after seeing their special I have a newfound respect for them and a desire to check out some more of their music.
I wonder who they will do next?
Who do you think they should reunite?order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I've seen a couple episodes of that show myself. I remember Vixen more than Scandal (Scandal - I think I just remember their name). I don't remember Vixen having many hits, but I remember thinking they looked kind of hot!
The 80's were really cool. There were a lot of great bands and really cool music in the 80's. What a fun decade that was... the technology wasn't as cool, but the mood of the decade was great!

I was a Scandal fan from the opening notes of Love's Got A Line On You from their first EP.
You've never heard Goodbye To You? That was blaring from a lot of radios in the early 80's.
The videos were great too because Patty Smythe always wore these great short skirts, va-va-voom. Very good looking woman!
I saw them open for The Kinks when I lived in Phoenix. Strange bill, but they held their own.
One band I'd like to see again are The Producers. Anyone here remember them? What's He Got? and She Sheila were their biggest hits.

Ahh - YES. Who doesn't know THAT song?!
Man, now I'm singing that one in my head! Just must have not placed the band to the song.
I must have not seen too many (early-mid 80's) videos with Patty Smythe in them... because I definitely would have remembered great legs! Damn - missed out on that
BUT, I clearly remember the song Goodbye To You... which I'll probably have stuck in my head all night now! That's cool though. Great song!

Wang Chung is another one of my favorite groups. 'The World In Which We Live' off the Mosaic album is excellent.
To Live and Die In LA is great from start to finish. Have you ever listened to The Warmer Side Of Cool?
'Prayin' To A New God' and 'Snakedance' are great too.
I just bagged a copy of their first Huang Chung LP too. Haven't listened to it yet, but I bet there are some gems in there.
I definitely agree they should try to get them on Bands Reunited.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Yes, "To Live & Die in L.A." is a great soundtrack. "Wake Up, Stop Dreaming" is just a damn cool song, period!
I haven't heard all of their work, but love what I know!
I'll have to find The Warmer Side of Cool. Many have told me it's a great album. Good snag on the LP. Let me know how it is!
I'm also getting back into The Cure, but I think they just recently got back together for a tour or something.
Personally, I'd like to see Journey (with Steve Perry) - but I know that'll never happen!
And what about Level 42? What happened to them? And The Hotels? Only the Lonely is just one of the best songs of the 1980s!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Actually, The Motels were one of the recent Bands Reunited shows. They did do a gig for them. Another great band.
Level 42 is actualy still together and plays a lot in the UK and Europe. Mark King is a bass player I truly admire!

Damn!
I'm sad I missed The Motels episode!
I had no idea, though, that Level 42 was still together! That's friggin' great! And yes, King is a good bassist. Many wouldn't give him credit.
With regards to Journey, I always thought Neil Schon was a frickin' amazing guitarist and never gets the credit he truly deserves. Don't forget he was a part of Santana (Black Magic Woman is mainly him)!
So much music to love in the 1980s! It's a shame that decade couldn't go on a little longer!

Did you ever listen to the Schon Hammer Project albums he did with Jan Hammer? Not the most commercially accesible stuff, but definitely some tasty playing on those records. I believe there were two or three. It's been years since I heard them.
Go to the Bands Reunited web site on VH1.com and there are some video clips of The Motels to view.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Sweet!
I'll check that out!
Now, I'd heard about the stuff with Schon and Jan Hammer, but I've never actually HEARD it myself.
Did they have an album? If so, is it on CD yet?
Thanks for the info! Nice to meet a fellow child of the 1980s who's unafraid to speak their mind in defense of their decade of influence!

I wish the original Revolution would get back together. With or without Prince, that would rock.

It's so weird to go back and look at Purple Rain to see where Prince was then to where he is now!
From Prince and the Revolution to Prince and the NPG to the Artist Formerly Known as Prince to the Artist back to Prince.
I love the dude's work, just sayin'!
And Purple Rain owns you all! Best.Power Balled.Ever.
