Okay, after sending out tons and tons of job apps, I finnally got a call for an interview on one of them (YES! YAY! W00T!). The problem is that it's my FIRST interview EVER and it's TOMMORROW! What should I know and watch out for?

bascily, dont worry, a job interview is a GREAT thing. Its your chance to sell yourself, to give all the input that the employer cant understand on a simple job app. Jokes, and other such small talk can help you relate on a more personal level, but it easily gets out of hand, so dont force it. You know i never really relized how great this site is. Puts people of common interest together to talk about all kinds of stuff. It's like My second family who understands computers and tron and even some who like starwars!

My advice is to just be cool, and just be yourself. Try to find out if you really want this job - ask questions during the interview. But most of all - just be yourself. Be smooth and enjoy the "conversation"  Don't think of it as an interview - just a conversation with someone new
Oh, and read the articles linked to above - good stuff to know

Thats sound right to me. Like what some of the people have mentioned. Just be yourself at the interview. its also a great learning tool as well. I've always learnt a lot from interviews as well. God only knows I've sent ton'o'paper of cv's electronically and in paper form for job interviews. You never know as well.. not to jinks iteither. you might get it on the first try too.
Come on every lets give'em the good vibes for the interview tomorrow. We all know you can make it through itwhether its your first or 1001st interview. Heck I still get the hibby jibbies over her for interviews. You'll be fine with it. We're all behind you here.I'm still sending out cv's and a few other things through my network of contacts over here.
Something is always bound to come up. I'll actually will continue this thought once you ome back from the interview Since I will find out from a few vendors over here. Something is brewing right in myneck of the woods over here. And its kind of related to what your going through over there with the Job interview. Its easily related to it.

Well... the interview went well. Matter of fact so well that I just got a job offer for that job a few minutes ago! I've finally got a job!

A job with the college library. I really like books and since I was raised to love reading and libraries, I guess it seemed like a good match. I smiled a lot during the interview (80% of people being interviewed DON'T smile. I think I got this fact from the link metioned earlier) and just been myself.
Although, I didn't get much sleep before the interview. *Sweatdrop* I was too wound up about it being as it was my first one. *Sigh*
