Interesting, considering the original title of Episode VI was Revenge of The Jedi, but George Lucas changed it to Return of The Jedi because Jedi were supposed to be above seeking revenge. Sith, of course, are not, so Revenge of The Sith is totally appropriate.
I like the symmetry.

I'm a big star wars fan so this is great news, EP3 is set for a May 2005 launch. Jar Jar will be in the film (noooooooooooooo), and chewy will be in this time (yayyyyyy). Plenty of updates and images floating around the web.

As much as I didn't really care for EPII, I still can't wait to see the 3rd installment. I think the title is pretty cool, and even sounds like a typical Star Wars title already. I'm going to enjoy this movie for whatever it's worth once it's released. Perhaps Lucas will pull out all of his tricks on this film and give us something spectacular. Let's hope so!
Any idea if he's writing and directing the whole thing himself once again on EPIII? I don't keep up much on what's new in the SW realm, so it would be interesting to know.

Well, there's a shocker . . . NOT!
It was pretty much a given the title would end up as Revenge of the Sith. Fans guessed that long ago, and Lucas even hinted before that they had guessed correctly.
This film better be good. It's the last one, so it needs to go out with a bang. I don't hate the first two episodes, but they're definitely not as good as the originals.
BTW, yep Uncle George is writing and directing Ep III.

Thier has been some debate, but I'm pretty sure 7,8,9 will be made....eventually. The first two werent terrible, it just seemed commercialized. The original films were more 'adult' (get your mind out of the gutter), in that they had a more complex since of humor and telling of the story. I'd like to see a return to this....but how many films have recently been presented in this style especially the 'blockbuster' megafilms like starwars. Irobot, Matrix, even parts of LOTR, have been 'dummed down' or had some seemingly out of place character to appeal to children. I dont have an issue with making films sell, I just belive their should be more put into it then simple throwing a clown or jokester type character into the mix. I could rant more but I'm sure you understand what im getting at. The screens I've seen of EP3 look pretty good, the cg will be even more amazing this time around, should be interested to see how it turns out.
BTW lucas also co-produced ep3

I like Star Wars as much as the next guy (Still Hoping CN releases their Clone Wars micro series to DVD!) but I am kinda like our patron saiint Steven Lisberger on the whole Star Wars phenomenon now. The politics and other assorted foolishness of making the movies has spoiled alot of the fun for me now. I find myself getting more excited over obscure or even foriegn films more these days. Right now I am totally jonesing for "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence". If you haven't seen the trailer, seek it out. Its a shame it lost the Palme D'Or to Michael Moore.

I have grown tired of commercialization in films now a days. It has really increased in years. When I go see a film I don't want to see a product put in a film for the purpose of selling and making money. That's what commercials on tv are for. It just seems unnecessary cause it wrinkles the presentation of a film when time is wasted to make room on screen for that product.
Jar Jar in the next film!? GAAAAAHHHHHHHH! *Twitches*
I hope it's with a well place shot to his skull from a blaster.
He really got on my nerves. *eye twitches*
Moving on...
When I was in Juinor High I loved Star Wars and was a big fan. But after a while the newer ones came out and the franchise just keep spewing out more and more stuff, and inturn I guess I got burned. It just seemed like there was no end to it no matter what. I still love the original ones. Guess it just got to where I could only take so much of the Star Wars franchise before I kinda became numb to it. *Shrugs*
I will go see Ep 3 when it comes out. I hope it does goes out with a bang. I do enjoy seeing the concept art books for the films. Love to see the evolution process of designs for films like that. https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

Well im a HUGE fan of the original trilogy, (Empire is still one of my top 5 fav films)
and I tollerated Episodes 1 and 2.
but Im happy to see George finally got to use his 'Revenge' title after all.
(I was one of the fans in the early days that wrote in complaining about the 'Revenge of the Jedi' title.)
and now its interesting to still be around to see history pretty much coming around full circle. lol
of course im a Sith fan over the Jedi anyway. so I anticipate trully enjoying this movie.
Destruction of the Jedi Council,
Deaths of MOST of the Jedi,
Anikin finally realizing his potential,
and we get to see Chewbacca.
This movie at least sounds like it will make up for the disturbance the first 2 created. heh hehabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Clone wars out in 05'! YATTA!!! Did you have anything to do with that? Yeah, GITS2 Innocence looks keen and from what buzz I have heard, the story is even better than the first. I've just got the first DVD of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and that is pretty swell too, but I have a feeling alot of people have probably spoiled themselves on Animeone and LaughingMan fansubs....I nearly did.
