I am working on putting the TRON Shrine back online. I have some preliminary pages up and I wanted people to take a look and give me some feedback on the current style.

It is unfinished, there are broken and dead links. I just want to get input on the look right now before I start adding information.

The intention of the site is to promote the TRON archive I am building as a research tool. Fan Art issues would be covered here at TRON Sector by Auric.

I will look at reducing the load times for the graphics. The only big graphic is the opening logo which I was already considering to be too big. Most of them are fairly small and should load quite quickly, even at 28K on a modem. (Ettercap, click on the big logo to move forward.)

Non-IE browsers. I am using the most basic HTML coding in the world, so anything that reads HTML should be able to see it, but I will not be doing anything special to support anything other than IE.

I am also not looking for affiliates. TRON Sector and Sketch's site are referenced purely due to their assistance in making mine possible.

There are 2 bad URLs on the front page:

and

The backslash should be a slash. IE seems to have no problem with this but Safari passes it to the server as-is, which results in a 404 error (this is sort of what I meant in my first post. IE is quite lax when it comes to incorrect HTML). There's a similar problem with the image URLs in index2.html

Mozilla displays the same behaviour as it only accepts "valid" URLs.

A useful page is the W3C HTML Validator as it will check your HTML for you and list any problems.

Maybe it's just me, but when I hit your first page, I thought perhaps the archive was being done at Sketchdomain and clicked there. Then I "got it" and clicked on your archive logo. Maybe something for those of us who aren't so initially clued in such as an "Enter" link or something?

It's looking good--although I seem to be having the same problems as the others with the pics not loading.

Here is some good constructive critisism from me over here. For both of the banners of Tron 2.0 and Walt Disney Tron. I was thinking maybe centering the words for the banners. Its a miner thing to work on. Or at least make the banner smaller unless something else is going to be added later to it. Then it should be okay then for the banner. Its the link going from Tron ARchive to the two to shoose from. In case your wondering where I am looking at. I like the idea of having the other two links going to Sketch's and Tron-sector there as well. Maybe when I get more time like on the weekend Imight do something as well for tron when time permits.
