If anyone's trying to get to me, just so you know, Yahoo is being a jerk again.
For some strange reason, Yahoo decided to block all third party im clients with their extreme flimsy excuse of cutting down IM spams. (What would stop the spammers from using their very own yahoo program to spam?)
I've never encountered spam problems with trillian, IMO. The excuse doesn't fly with me.

I was wondering why my yahoo wasnt working on trillian. 95% of my friends are on aim, and I also have a few on msn and icq. Icq can be sketchy, but aim seems to be pretty solid on trillian. MSN and yahoo did this before with trillian (and other such programs), but a patch was released to have everything work again, hopefully the same thing will happen. Tactics like these arent a great way to gain any fans...but I belive Trillian will pervail

Yeah, they did release a patch. I updated my copy of trillian with the patch.

I've never really gotten into trillian, it never got along well with any computer I've used.

I like it . . . the fact that it combines all the chat programs into one is a godsend. I can talk to anybody with it, no matter what IM client they use. It also has a much cleaner, pared down interface compared to the bloated features of the other clients.
The only problems are: 1) File transfers often don't work (grr), and 2) As you can see, the various companies often makes changes to break compatibility with Trillian (more grr).
