I was scoping the net not too long ago. and I had stumbled upon another script from 1998 for the sequel of tron. Thought that if anyone is interested in looking at it. Its not the final draft of any sort. Since its about 6 years old. Thought some of us tronbabe and tron guys would be interested in something to read in. To see what ideas are forming up on it. Here is the link if anyone is ineterested in it.

Having read the actual scripts for TRON 2.0, I can tell you that is not one of them.
A fan written script for sure.

Hmm... not bad. I wouldn't call it pulse-poundingly dramatic, but a decent script, as beta movie scripts go. (Look at the title of this script, guys... Buena Vista's idea was the obvious, inevitable title for any Tron sequel.) Unfortunately, it's incompatible with 's extention of the Tron Canon. It could be tweaked, though, to incorporate correction algorithms.
I think with a little more upgrading this script could work!
Edit: Fan script? Yep. The problem being?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

It's simply not the real deal. Just don't want anyone thinking it is. It's someone's idea, and that's great, but it's not one of the real scripts.

Just to be sure you are talking about movie scripts... correct? Or are you talking about alternate scripts for the TRON 2.0 game?
May I ask... how many "actual" scripts there are? Very envious... that's sure got to be some interesting reading.

Davetron I think everyone knows that this writier is a fan of tron. If this was a real deal from Mr. lisberger himself it would have said so where I had the linked site. I would love to have read one of the scripts from Liseberger for tron 2.0 that he done. so far.

Karl,
The guys site does not make it clear it is a fan script. He wants people to think it's official or he'd be more clear in his text.
Carl,
Three scripts so far, plus several treatments done by Steven. Two of the scripts were by a man named Richard Jefferies who should never have tried to write for TRON, he doesn't appreciate the world we all love. The rest of what I have read is by Steven. Those I like a lot. I can see the next movie in bits and pieces in my head at this point. There are certain scenes Steven has written that I can already see in complete detail in my mind.

You know what Dave. It would be a privilage to see the three other scripts that were done for Tron 2.0 to just get an idea of what it will be about. Even though the final will be completely different from the first three scripts that were done. I had also heard that he had a chance of writing for tron 2.0 I did not know that he didn't have the appreciation like all of us here at tron sector who love tron.

Karl,
If I could share them I would. I have certain opportunities due to my job and my frieindship with Steven.
I hope at some point you guys will get to see on screen what I have seen in my head. I know Steven wants it to happen, hopefully Disney will soon too.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Dave
I totally understand as so do the others around here too. And that is completely normal due to working at disney and the other things that makes it harder. Not to worry about it.
When it comes out on the big screen I'll be there waiting in line for the first tickets for it. Thisa might be a good idea too for the other things for tron add in's for things. What about after the film been released. How about selling copies of the final script that made the classical sequel.? Just an idea since I have some scripts from Star Trek Voyager, X-files, etc.

The script is not all that great, in my opinion. it seems like it has little flow... seems very stop-and-goish to me.

Actually make the suggestion to the marketing team after the tron 2.0 movie sequel is release. And use it as part of the lil toys and widgets that are coming out already for tron 2.0 game. But keep this for after when the movie is already out. I canreally understand how much the relationship between you and Steve mean. I didn't want to sound like I wanted to rip it apart there. I meant it as another widget for Disney, Steve, And tron cult to grow here.
You know what Dave. I actually envy you that you know Steve as a really good friend. And I mean that in all the good ways about it Dave.

That rules, Dave. Thanks for letting us know you've read Steven's script! It's a bit reassuring to know a Tron 2.0 film idea has at least gotten that far. Hopefully the next steps will be taken some day to make the movie.
Is it true, Dave, that Disney's waiting to see how well the Tron 2.0 & KillerApp games sell before deciding to make a movie sequel?
PS - Any Tron fan truly would be honored to see any portion of the script -- that's great you got to!! I'd personally want to see it so I could make concept artwork, but realize the likelihood of that is pretty much nil (or "null", if we're speaking Tron ). If the movie never gets released, I hope Steven and/or Disney can at least make a book.

Traahn,
You could surmise that, but nobody really knows. I know I don't know, and I know Steven doesn't know.
There are three people at Disney Feature Films that will decide if that film ever gets made, and they won't tell anyone else until they are good and ready to do so.
Having read Steven's script and treatments and the Richard Jefferies scripts, I know what I'd like to see for TRON's future.
I am afraid people who only think of it as a "property" will ruin it for people like us who like to visit that world. I think Steven should be the person who decides the shape of that world, sort of a Gene Roddenberry type of role over a larger TRON universe. I hope someday someone will let that happen. It's just my opinion, but I think it's a good one.
I am hopeful that someday we will see a new movie, a TV series and several books too. I hope to be a part of that in some way if it does occur. Right now there is nothing but the games. Time will tell if the rest of it will happen.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

That's exactly what I'm worried about, too. Back when the original film was made, Disney was willing to take a chance on such a "risky" project because they were behind other studios when it came to making breakout films.
But now, making a sequel is another risky, expensive proposition. At least in the eyes of the executives, no doubt. I hope they find the wisdom to let Steven do the film the way he wants. If the studio starts interfering and become control freaks, then that will probably ruin the film.

Yep, I agree. I think they did a great job on re-creating the Tron universe in the Tron 2.0 video game. Having that game was like a life-long dream of mine coming true. Beautiful work! I feel similar care will be taken to preserve the Tron universe's atmosphere and look & feel if a movie sequel (or re-make) is ever done. Seeing a movie sequel to Tron would be another life-long dream coming true. I'm glad Disney took the risk to make the movie back in '82 and hope they continue along this path they've been taking to bring Tron back.
