Where's Sark?

on Monday, March, 29, 2004 12:48 PM
Hello! I'm a new program 'round here, and I have a question: My user recently brought the TRON 20th aniversary editition on DVD, and was checking trough the "Making of"-part. They interviewed most of the actors and stuff, but when they came to Zark, the actor in question (can't remember his name right now) wasn't to be seen anywhere! Is he dead, or did he just don't want to take part? Any information would be appreciated by my user.

David Warner played Sark and is alive and well in London. As for why he didn't take part, I can't say for sure.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Hmm, I suspect the "Obi-Wan syndrome" (wohoo, I invented a term!). Maybe he was too much of a "serious" actor who didn't want to remember that he'd been in something as "unserious" as a disney movie?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I am a huge fan of David Warner. He is still a very busy actor and probably just didn't have the time. The other folks in the movie were all pretty much local to LA and at least the US. David would've had to make a special trip from Great Britain or where ever he was currently shooting. It probably just wasn't feasible either timewise or budgetwise.

I don't think it would be an ObiWan syndrome. David's known to be a pretty easygoing fellow. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

...sort of.

But yeah, the actor was probably busy. I had to conclude that. Still, the dvd's great. (Just wish the commentaries were captioned! *pout*)

I saw him in a movie where he played a serial killer who stole a time machine. It was early 80's I think. I remeber watching it saying..." Hey, thats my dad ! "

In which case you'll be happy to know that I'm part-way through transcribing the 'Making of…' documentary (having seen you commenting on the lack of subtitles in a previous post). I could always do the same for the commentary once I'm done (it'll take a while though, as my dictation speed is quite slow)

Ha! Not very likely...not the guy who did "The Man With Two Brains" and "Star Trek V", among others.

No, I agree with those who suggested that since he lives in London, it wasn't practical to get him involved in the documentary. It's a shame, too, because (A) when I've seen him interviewed, he's quite interesting, and (B) he did such a great job in the film.

And I would give my left Byte to see him in a TRON sequel (game or movie, no diff to me.) I could see him as a wildly successful Richard Branson/Internet Bubble Millionaire-type, continuing his quest to destroy Encom and especially Alan Bradley/TRON. (In fact, I believe that **SPOILER ALERT FOR THE GAME**...

I guess the question would be: is there anything that Dillenger could do that the MCP absolutely could not?

The only thing I can think of would be actually, physically fronting the company, representing it at trade shows and such (much as he evidently did for Encom), and since Dillenger *disappeared* following the events of TRON, on reflection, I can't see him risking an appearance, even many years later, in ANOTHER computer company. And frankly, he'd be much more likely to wind up a cheap crook with a good case of computer *phobia*. (In fact, tracking him down and forcing him to help defeat the newly-reactivated MCP might make an interesting plot twist in a sequel.)

Hmmm... I accept your theory entirely, and hereby change my affiliation to Independant.

(I was looking for an excuse to do that, anyway. Go CLU!)
