Tron: Hidden Partition - Motion Glow Test

on Thursday, March, 18, 2004 1:47 PM
What a way to start off the weekend Here is the glow test in motion. The footage has been keyed (blackscreen) with the blue disc prop. The suits will be a harder challange as the design is much smaller. My next test is a suit glow test (shirt only). I am buying a white spandex top and then I will put on the design, from there I will do a motion test as I did with the disc's. The disc test was done using a black board for the backdrop. The suit test will be done with a black cloth backdrop, it will give a more natural key..

It looks good. The only thing that I would like to say. And its not a bad thing either can you bring the frame rate down on it. a 124 or a 1088 is a little too hig for my computer to process over here. I'm on a PII 233 hjere and its a little choppy over here. I thought to let you know. That it's a little too much for my computer over here too handle. Until I can get my other computer running over here. Or at least get a server that I have found over ehre that I may order once I get the money in. ANd its a whole lot better than what I am currently using fully equiped the way I want all used stuff.

Compucore

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Hmm, I downloaded the clip (not streamed) and I only get the "before" view. No "after", with the glow effect added. The time length shows 11 seconds, but I only see the first 4. The file size is 848 KB.

BTW, I think it's really cool that you're making a fan film . . . I hope it inspires other people to do their own Tron related projects, too.

Ah, better. It's cool to think some of the effects in can now be done today on a shoestring budget . . . amazing how far we've come.
