I found this on the net...
The Nova laser is the successor of the Shiva laser, the one used for the Digitizing Bay in . Shiva was built in November 1977 and was decommissioned at the end of 1981. Nova was built in 1985 and has been used to study the physics of nuclear detonation.
Nova is a neodymium-glass laser with ten beams that produces 16 trillion watts of laser light.
Amazingly Nova is small change compared to Livermore's NIF laser, which has 192 laser beams that at peak power generate up to 750 trillion watts of laser light.

Well I would hate to see that little disc spinning in the neter that you would have in the house or in an industrial meter that you usually read off the numers from.. If that thing eats teh amount of power as I think it does. It would be doing past mach 10 for sure for sure.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.
