Can't wait to see either. If I can get my mitts on that SGI system to help out or at least upgrade my current computer to something a heck of a lot better than what I currently have would be nice to really help out on it.

Hello all;
I am here again with yet another small update. The first glow test !

This glow test is performed on a static image. I have changed the glow slightly from the film to update the look a little. It now has a charge flux. (You will see in the footage) (3D'ish glow) This is the first of many tests. Next I will be using one of my DISC film props to do a clip of the disc in motion with the glow. Till next time.

A nice start. I did some PS work on filmstrip frames some time ago. It's detailed work, but the effect can/will be killer.

Hi Auric - I kinda hate QuickTime... (I can never seem to get it installed). As such, I'm not able to view your movie. Is there a chance your movie can be re-posted in a Windows Media Player-compatible format? I wasn't sure how difficult something like this is.

Try this. I converted it to an MP4 file (3iVX video and AAC audio) that you should be able to play (not sure what software you'd need for MP4 files on Windows though)
