Question for XP users

on Sunday, February, 22, 2004 8:30 PM
Ok, ever since I installed the last "critical update" I've had a problem. There is about a 1 in 5 chance that after I start my pc and log on, I get the message "windows explorer encountered an error and must close" (or something close to that). This of course leaves me stuck in a "start-up loop", as I keep getting the same message over and over, and I can do nothing except shut down manually.

I never had this happen before the update, and was just wondering if any one else had seen anything similar.

Don't you wish your corruption was hot like me?

Definitely didn't have a problem.

You're using XP home? (I have XP Pro...)

Like what kia had mentioned which version of Windows XP are you using. And what's the latest service pack that you have installed on that machine It will help us out in getting down to what problems you are having. And the exact error message as well. Since we need to know what the error message had said.

Cause I think we can cross check it agains the knowledge bas on Microsoft with what the problem is.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

It's XP home 2002 with service pack 1. As far as the exact message, I'll have to wait until it does it again. I know it's something about a windows explorer error. After it happens, I get the error reporting send / don't send message. If I choose "don't send", my desktop icons flash and the message appears again. It will do this over and over until I shut the machine down.

If I choose to send the error report, it lets me connect to the net, but then acts the same as above once the message is sent.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

OKay When it happens again. Please mark it down somewhere. Then come back to us. Cause right now we are in the datk as what we can help you with on the problem. Cause sometimes those error codes will help us know what is exactly going on. within windows.

So far it has not happened again (of course not!).

I had a few things shut down through msconfig that I have turned back on. Maybe that was it?

Any how, I'll make note of the error code if it happens again!

Thanks fo your help.
