Carl still lies awake during the power down cycle unable to get the image of his fallen comrades out of his head.
"If I'd just be able to stop sooner." he tells himself.
....
Then the following week while on patrol...
The tank comand program yells "CARL!!! You're already in hot water after you were responsible for derezzing that tank last week. Now how could you go and lose that rogue light cycle in the middle of the game grid. Come on... there is NOTHING out here for him to hide behind!!!"

Thanks Darksaber7. I'm probably better at picture rendering them I am at story telling but I thought this was a bit more origional than saying something like "Look here is my latest render. My sense of homor has always been a little odd to most people so its really nice when I'm able to make some laugh.

Doing my part to add to the TRON activity around here as Dave put it. Here is the next installment...
Carl, having been proven incompetent at chasing down rogue light cycles gets PROMOTED. His command program thinks Carl should be able to stay out of trouble as the lead tank to escort Sark's carrier.
Carl is grateful to accept the new subroutines as a new bar rezes in on his chest. He vows to do his very best.
He pilots his tank with his head held high...
Ever wonder why this picture was cropped such that you couldn't see the bottom of the de-resing square?
Well here is a hint... this is Carl after his demotion back to patrol. I can still hear the comand program screaming "CARL... YOU DID WHAT!!!!!"
