Hey Folks. I had found something here that may be of some interest its for the windows enviroment. For changing the desktop. Its something that you can customize the desktop in such a way that its a 3d enviroment for the windows enviroment. Here is the link to their site. Hmmm, that's pretty cool.

I'm not sure I'd want to work with something like that as my desktop all the time, but it looks fun... and may just turn out to be very functional.

I wonder though... if it allows people to place their icons in 3D environments as they say it does, wouldn't it potentially become as cluttered as someone's house or storage shed may get? I'm thinking with all that 3D space to put my icons in, I'll end up with icons all over the place to the point where I'd be tripping over them!

I thought that it was cool as well. I guess it all depends on how many icones you have already set up on your desktop. You know the essential ones that you use on a daily basis. I know for myself over here on my desktop I have about 31 altogether. And out of those there are about 3-4 that are the critical ones that I use on a daily basis the others are the ones that are there are just incase or just plain just for quick access if I need them. But not an essential though. But thats just me over here. I usually go through my program area to pull the rest of the others up and out when I need them in the program section..

I guess you need sometimes to just be organized in general for what you need this kind of program. I thought that it would be a good idea you know. Just for something that someone else might be looking into.
