For Mac OS X initially, but if anyone wants to make XP icons I can forward the files. If the picture below has a grey background, try using a browser other than Internet Explorer.

Someone said they wanted to make something out of the picture for the disc one time (clock?)
I think it would be cool of the "triforce" in the center of Jet's disc-each point closest to what time it is would extend out and pinpoint the exact time.
I think it would be cool to use your pic there, I don't think the disc would have to face forward in order for it to look best, it would be cool to see a clock at that angle too.

OK. I've made the first 2 icons. Here's a preview of how they look against a background picture. I'm quite pleased with how the blue glow around the disk looks.

I actually like this one better than the first Jet Bradley one as this one has a nice semi-transparent blue glow.

BTW, I'm working from the pictures on the Character Designs page here at the sector for these icons, so I'd appreciate some nice large screengrabs of other characters to work from, please

That's all I've done so far. It takes ages to remove the background in Photoshop (especially on the IC Regular's shield which has loads of holes that had to be removed in order to get the semitransparent glow in there).
Like I said, I'd appreciate good full-body screenshots of other characters from the game to work from once I've used all of the pics in the character design page (my PC is too weedy to run the game and the in-progress Mac port would be too much for my 4 year old PowerBook as well).

I made a couple of Windows versions of what I've done so far at work today using Icon Sushi, but they don't look quite as nice at 48x48 pixels

If I've done the HTML right you should be able to click the pics to open them…
The files are 128x128 PNG format so you'll have to resize them to 48x48 before you can use them.

If you decide to run the registry hack to allow 128x128 icons on XP there are 128x128 pixel versions in those .ICO files as well
