Hahahahaha........ I was watching an ABC Family channel movie called "I wanna marry Ryan Banks" and it had a giant Tron 2.0 reference. It was more than a reference really, it was a full on plug.
The movie's a basic Cyrano de Bergerac type story set around a reality TV show and at one point Ryan Banks is having a dinner with one of the contestants and she asks what his favorite video game was. He answered "Tron 2.0" and they had this whole conversation about what version number they were at and the build points and all (the girl said she had gotten to version 10.0 which I personally doubt they even mentioned the new multiplayer modes and managed to get in the official site address.
It was a blatent plug, but I'm all for anything that can give the game exposure. Though I'm not sure that many people from this movie's demographic are really likely to play it (I only watched 'cause the main female character played Anya on Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
Anyway it was cool and if you get the chance check out the scene. It's about an hour into the show.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

LOL! Are you serious?! I watch very little television so I wouldn't likely see a plug like that. However, I have to say that Disney using its ABC broadcasting division to indirectly promote one of its other division's products is certainly a self-serving use of air time. That reminds me of that scene in the movie "The Truman Show" where Truman's wife picks up the product and holds it up in the direction of the camera for the plug.
On the other hand, anything which promotes the game and PC games in general is good in my book. Television is the most ubiquitous and patronized advertising medium, and certainly should be used more to promote PC games. It's no coincidence that best selling PC games like the Grand Theft Auto series, The Sims, and Max Payne are advertised on television. I've even seen Warcraft III ads at the movies. Disney should use its broad media reach to cross-promote its software products. It's the best way to expand the audience and consumer base of PC games.

You'd be surprised. The old adage of "monkey see, monkey do." certainly applies. There's also the herd mentality. If people who don't traditionally play PC games see others they admire talk about playing such games even in a fictionalized setting, that will certainly encourage those viewers to give the games a try.

So it aired already, huh? I got a call from a writer at ABC, we went over the scene and I gave him a few ideas. Glad to see that it made it.
Now if I can only get them to bring back the Six Million Dollar Man (and not with Jim Carey)...

It would be funny if it somehow made it into Whose Line is it Anyway? Aye... but that's just a pipe dream.

Ooh . . . you have no idea how close to home that hits, with me. I was once the keeper of all things Bionic on a certain channel's website . . . LOL. That was years ago.
Anyway, I'm not sure I'd want to see Six Mill or Bionic Woman resurrected. (I know there was talk of a new Bionic Woman TV series.)
Now . . . getting back to !
Well yeah, that's a pretty blatant plug on a Disney owned enterprise . . . but hey, we need some more User Power! Go !

I wanted to throw my computer at the tv for that!
10.0.0?! Not possible when the script was being written!
X_x; But at least, the plug is nifty.
The movie was very entertaining though. I actually watched it because of Bradley Cooper (he played Will on Alias) and Emma (Anya, buffy).where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.
