Hello! I've been doing a lot of 3D animation recently, and I lreally really love it to bits. More recently I've been making movies, compositing and stuff and have super duper into the film Starship Troopers [please rent it if you haven't seen it]. SO, to merge interests I've been making a movie about one of the ST Bugs being loose in my street, and then it kills my brother [hehe]. Here are some of my intial render ideas.
I downloaded the CG bug model, took the photos and spent hours on compositing, lighting, shadows and wotnot.

Any plot or render suggestions? One of my biggest fears when I was younger was this movie, and having a bug come in my room, so to now have pics of them in my Street is quite daunting, but really cool. its sweet. hey could you use more than one bug. and even possibly a different bug, even just one. then you could, like, make a cliff-hanger of which bug gets to kill your brother. nah, thats a lot of work, just post it somewhere we can see it. it looks sweet.

Cool ideas, I've storyboarded it out, and i've been working on the bug's walk cycle for about two weeks (it has four legs so I'm going mega slow) but its about 40% done, I'm well pleased, I'll post the movie in avi form eventually. How exactly would i get an avi on the net, it'll be quite large, i seem to remember sketch posting an avi once.
