Okay, who thinks there should be a new Tron arcade game??
I had an idea for one the other day-
This game to me best would be designed in two ways, either some kind of action game where you can control the character like with a trackball or a couple of controlers or something [not sure how it would best work out though, something like the pc game but more]
or,
My second idea, which is to make the game a shooter-type style, with a disc you actually hold to play and fight. You can make the action of the throw at the screen, and the disc shoots out thus. There could even be a button or two included, one on the disc to hold-then you can aim the path of the disc, and one foot pedal to make a disc recall. 
The game could either be 2 discs for the same screen to have 2 player co-op, or there could be more than one screen to have face-offs for disc battle madness!!
The game could go through 1 and 2.0, taking you to all the great action/battle scenes of the game/movie, and you could battle it out yourself!!
Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Yeah, that would be cool, but I'd have to actually buy one and make room for it in my office...yadda yadda. 
Seriously, I'd love to see a new arcade game for TRON. I like your ideas.

Yeah, it would take up a lot space, I figure there'd have to be motion sensors [like some fighting arcade games I've seen] necessary to track your aim of the disc.

Would be neet to see that actually. I've seen an arcade game of some sort where you play a police man or a swat team gunman. (Something to that effect.) When you move a particular way. it know when you move and that. And adjusts the screen accordingly.
Or have the original two games come back out and updated to todays graphics and sound effects. And make it into one big game. And have it in the same if not similar booth like the Disc of Tron. Where your surrounded by sound and the what ever else. Just too bad that Bally is no longer into making the arcade games anymore. They just making the casino stuff.

The reintroduction of a TRON arcade game might actually make me return to that dimly lit, smoke filled (well, not smoke filled anymore...), and noisy dungeon where so much of my youth and allowance was spent.

Or you could get a place like stern that could buy the copyrights for the new version and make a pinball game of Tron for the arcade. That would be interesting. Or a revamped version of tron. This is just an idea of mine.
