How many copies have been sold so far worldwide? How many is needed before the big D gives the okay for the movie?

Already asked that and they are not releasing numbers yet. Generally you have to wait 3 months to get anything and then even longer for international.

If disney ever release a sequel to TRON I'm sure you will hear it first from TRON-SECTOR. I'm quessing it will be at least another "year or two" before Disney ever releases a sequel. It just isn't going to happen overnight. Everybody on hear is in a rush for a sequel to happen. Just hold your horses. It's going to take time. If the game does well enough, I have NO DOUBT it will eventually happen. All these rumors etc, I will believe it when it happens.

I would have to agree with CHessmess about this. They won't release figures about how well they are making with the game Tron. I can understand why DaveTron and clif why/. Its more or less for them to know internally how well its doing. And not for us to know about.
And Measis do you think it would need to be about a year or two at least to get the green light for the sequel to get going? At least let them start getting into some kind of production on the movie. (Just Kidding) Yeah about a year or two sounds right. But you know how users are. They want it. And they wanted it yesterday.

All I can say is that the more copies of Tron 2.0 sold, the better the chances of future Tron goodness.
Now that the game is out, word of mouth is going to be instrumental in the success of the game.
If you've already bought the game and enjoyed it, please spread the good word and recommend it to your friends, neighbors, classmates, collegues, coworkers, total strangers, etc.

Gosh, if we don't get a full-blown movie sequel out of this, could we at least get an expansion pack?
I'd happily shell out my hard-earned cash for more TRON 2.0 goodness.
I'm not asking for much, mind you, just the proverbial more. More Single-Player levels, perhaps with some destrustible terrain? I'd love to knock out a bridge from underneath an ICP and watch him derezz as he falls. And of course there's interest in another multiplayer mode.
I've been spreading the gospel about the game, though. A co-worker of mine owns the game already, even though his new computer hasn't shipped yet!

Ive sold over 20 copies I'm trying to get the school to buy copies for a lab (another 50 copies)...our IT guys rock! But, I think tron isnt doing too badly. Checking a few of the sites its still on all the sale boards...

Hey Cliff... If you can supply me some T2.0 posters I can make sure said posters get displayed at some local video stores. Might be a way we can boost some sales.
We only have a short time before HL2 hits and we have to drive sales for T2.0 as much as we can before then.
Cmon programs... calculate!

It won't be another month or so until figures are released, remember, Tron 2.0 has not been completely sold worldwide yet. They'll want to do that first.
