I'd like to think it's the latter. That way, an expansion could introduce some "real-world" romance for Jet, when he meets Mercury's real User.

Well.. I guess the next question is, was getting Bridges involved ever an option, or even a thought? If not, why not? Especially given his apparent interest in a theoretical Tron2.0 movie script.

Actually, the Prankster Bit and Suffusion were two weapons I NEVER used in the game.
I mainly stuck to:
- Disc (with Gold-level primitive upgrade subroutine)
- Cluster Disc (Gold upgrade)
- LOL (Gold upgrade)
I used the Mesh Blaster *once*, when I was rescuing Alan inside the fCon Server, because I could shoot the two ICPs standing next to him and get them to scatter and he'd run for cover. When I'd use the Cluster Disc, they'd explode and kill Alan in the process.

You know, KernelAssist.exe (who actually has two names in the game. When you see him on the outer part of Thorne's partition, he's KernelSupport.exe, and when you see him when he's lying on the ground dying, saying how there were heavy casualties, he's KernelAssist.ini) always reminded me of some NOLF2 character. Maybe one of the H.A.R.M. henchmen or something. |
I think that character actually uses the same motion capture as the HARM henchmen second the Director in NOLF2. I read somewhere that there was alot of new motion capture going into Tron 2.0, and alot being used from Lith's "expansive library of motion captures".
