The launch update (containing dedicated server code and assorted delights) is available for download. Go to the download section of tron20.net. Alternately, the game will inform you the first time you go online that there is a new version available for download.

Do not apply it yet, it screws up disk detection. From the horses mouth:
"We're investigating this right now.
In the meantime, to restore the game, delete the Tron 2.0 folder from the Program Files folder on your C drive (or where ever you installed the game to) and also delete the Monolith Productions registry entry using Regedit."
That's the current solution from thr tron20.net board host.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

The post on tron20.net was meant as a quick fix for that specific end user until we have more data on the problem.

While there are a few reported instances of the patch causing problems, for the most part it appears to be working properly.
And while I don't want to impugn anyone's good character, the reported disk check error message is exactly what would happen if you tried to install the patch over a pirated copy of the game. That's what makes troubleshooting this problem a little difficult.
It would be good to know if any tron-sector regulars have this problem as well.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Works fine for moi.
Thanks again for such a great game.
As I said in another thread, not since System Shock have I been so drawn in.
I am a jaded, older, cynical gamer, having cut my computer teeth on a trash80.
For the past 4 years, with the exception of the tribes franchaise, this is the first winner to emerge in a long, long time.
Do it again.

Patch worked fine on my PC regarding disc detection.

I'm not a regular, but I'm having this exact problem. The patch renders the game unusable. I see the spinning disc cursor forever, but nothing else. Not only that, but if I Alt-Ctrl-Del and shut down the Lithtec prog, my comp crashes. So basically, when I have the patch, I can't play the game, and if I try to, I have to reboot in order to use my comp again.
My discs are completely legit unless Wal-Mart is involved in a bootleg scam. I really want to fix this, because I can't see any servers in multiplayer. Anyone have any ideas?

The spinning CD cursor is a different error from the disk check error I mentioned earlier.
For the spinning CD cursor, try disable the CD writing function on your CD player and see if that helps.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Ever since upgrading, when I launch the game, more often than not I get a "CD Not In Drive" error, even though my STORE BOUGHT COPY is in the drive. There are three buttons, one of which is labeled "Continue".
If I repeatedly click on this button several times, then sometimes the app will keep loading, but other times the error box refuses to go away, I cannot even open the CD drive the disc is sitting in, and only a hard power-down and restart will clear the error. The other buttons do nothing and do not clear the error. Prior to patching I had no issues like this across a few dozen appliation starts. I am NOT using a copied disc!
I have saved some games (many, in fact) after patching- if I delete the game code and wait for a new patch that fixes this issue, will I be able to apply my save game file to the unpatched version of the game?
Thank you for keeping us updated on this issue, Cliff!

Thanks. That helped. I'd like to not have to keep doing that though. Why did it work before the patch and not after? My CD is a writer, and I use it as such quite a lot. Switching back and forth could get annoying.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Thanks, Cliff. Actually, I got a very nice letter from Buena Vista tech support late last night from a tech support rep, asking me to send them my D IAG script and appologizing for the issue. man, I literally can't remember the last time I actually heard a support rep say those simple words: "We're sorry for the inconvienience...", and I've been a gamer since the ancient days of Intellivision and the Commodore 64. Good form!
If it helps you troubleshoot it, I find I get the error MUCH more after I reboot, run the game, then shut down and try launching it again. For some reason the first time I try launching after a reboot seems to be fine (launches 90% of the time with no error), but I have about an 80% failure rate on subsequent launches. Weird...
Thanks, again, and please do pass along my thanks for the courtesy. It makes me FAR more likely to spend my gaming dollars on new games when I know the support staff actually cares about making a good impression. ~ImagoX

Re: saved games - saved games from the clean version will work on an patched game, but not vice versa, unfortunately.
Do you have an ATI Radeon 7000 or 8000 class card? If not, the patch won't improve your single player experience by that much unless you absolutely have to skip the light cycle races. You may want to see if someone on tron-sector has a save from a unpatched game at the level you were at. Once you've completed the single player game, then you can use the patch for an improved multiplayer experience.
Hope this helps.

I finished the game last night, so obviously this wasn't a lethal problem, but to start the game I'd double-click the CD icon, then select 'Play' and then I'd always get this error:
No Disc in Drive //Device/Hard Disk/(some partion name)
Then I'd hit 'Cancel' and the game would run normally.
Strange.

Amygdala (great name, btw):
Would you mind reporting this problem to BVI customer support? Please send an email with the contents of your dxdiag file pasted into the body of the email to support@tron20.net. Sounds like a compatibility issue with your CD player - it would be good to get that info into our system. Thanks in advance.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill ck |

I sent a more descriptive email to the tech support folks. Hopefully they can make some sense out of it.
Oh, and Cliff, two things:
1) Thanks for being involved in the community. It's refreshing to see Senior Producers down in the forum-trenches.
(And most importantly)
2) Thanks for making a great game. I loved it!
