I'd cranked out a really, really long-winded reply mapping out everything we apparently know how to do to the fictional fCon server to date, because I figured it was a good idea to have one central thread detailing how to "hack" fCon, as I was noticing that there were a lot of random small threads with bits and pieces of information, but no central thread.
I figured this could be that central thread. Well... one of two. This would be the "spoilers" one, where the brunt of the information would be spelled out for everyone, but then I'd also make a non-spoilers one for people who kinda want to figure stuff out for the "hacking game" on their own.
When I get a little bit more free time (and when my headache goes away) I'll redo my monster post which explains all the data I've gathered thus far, all the pathways and dead-ends I've reached, etc.

It'd be funny if the FBI caught wind of this thread and tried to shut this server down, thinking it was a hacker's DB with info on how to hack into fCon (A non-existent company).
Don't laugh, they did it to Steve Jackson games when they released a "Cyberpunk" suppliment for the role-playing system GURPS in the late 80s/early 90s. They thought it was a hackers "How-to" book for current systems, etc. They seized properties, systems, etc at their office.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Honestly. I hope they don't go to that extremely of seizing equipment and shutting down a system like this. We all know its something fun to do over here to try and see what they have for the fans of tron. And I hope they are reading this and do come to some conclusion that we are talking about the web site that its a game that Fcon has and we all in to have some fuin on both sides here. We're not actually going to hack into a real company and do something. We're just not that kind of people around here.

...and in light of that, I made sure to go back and edit my original post to indicate that the fCon website is fake, and that the "hacking" thing isn't real.
Of course, my monster post will make that clear, with links and stuff all over the place, but I haven't re-written it yet. However, here are some tidbits of data:
- to foil the IP origin trace in the hacker screenapp, type in "a5d4t" at any time
- to access Terminal 1's first locked folder in the fCon network map, type in "rd98dfer" when it asks for verification
- on the main fCon page, on the two press releases, press "c" to clear up the unreadable words
- on Router 2 on the fCon network map, the following usernames seem to be valid:
flynn
encom
fcon
gsamsa
thorne
We do not have any valid passwords as of yet.
As far as I know, that's all we know how to do. However, I've got other ideas, leads, clues and such that I'll put in my long-winded reply. ----------------------------

That is good to know. we shall all be waiting in baited breath when you do re-release the notes that you have found for it. And any new tid bits that you have found or thought up on. As far as this goes. Its fun for them and us. To just enjoy doing these things without harming them, or us. Its the joy of just having fun for both them and us.

The notes are mainly a little bit of research into "gsamsa" (didn't find much), as well as IP traces of various IP numbers mentioned in the screenapp and on the fCon network map, stuff like that.

There's a cute little tidbit.
The port number that's only even open is 82. ;D (I take that to mean as in 1982, when Tron was released.) Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Here's some more stuff, working off memory, before I post all my notes:
- "gsamsa" doesn't turn up much of anything on Google, aside from a lot of Email addresses at various host providers (I suspect it's someone's first initial, then last name. G Samsa), hits back from various hispanic websites that seem legitemate... and links to a porn king with the last name "gsamsa". Interesting, but I still think it's coincidental.
- when you're getting the port listings, it says a few interesting things:
1. At the bottom it says "Difficulty = 14943 (Worthy Challenge)". I don't know what it means, but it just seemed so out-of-place that it stuck out in my mind,
2. At the top of the popup box listing off all the open and closed ports, it says "fconprivate.tron20.net (63.70.44.59)" The first part seemed like a website address, so I checked it, and it doesn't exist. The second part is an IP address, and while I figured it was bogus, too, I ran a trace on it and it pinged through 15 nodes before dead-ending somewhere southeast of Orlando, Florida. Doesn't get me anywhere, but it was interesting nonetheless. The fact that I even got a trace shows that the IP number is real - I tried doing random-number traces using my trace program, and it'll tell me when they're fake. ----------------------------

The Difficulty= is taken from NMAP output. NMAP is portscanner and probably the best one around because it can do OS fingerprinting and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. So I think they added that for more "hacker" realism.

I'm sorry, but that meant NOTHING to me.
Oh yeah, I noticed that in the screenapp under the older stuff, where it lists the fCon copyright notices, the second one makes a mention of "poison MCP". I found that interesting.
Also, I checked the fCon site and the screenapp yesterday, seeing as how the main Tron20.net page got updated on 4/11, just to see if they updated those two things as well. Nope, no update on either front.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion ----------------------------

as far as the trace route you did, its probably getting killed by a disney router blocking ICMP traffic. I did a whois on that IP and that IP block is owned by Disney. So maybe that server is somewhere in Disney World?
whois results:
Search results for: 63.70.44.59
