NPC fun

I've been thinking about how some of the NPCs in the game would look like, depending on their function, etc. Some ideas:
Really large/overweight programs - Microsoft programs
Some type of bookshelf with "books" in them - .DLLs (Dynamic Link Libraries)
A program running to the IO tower, muttering the same sentence over and over and over again: Instant Message
These are only off the top of my head. Anyone else have ideas?
