That is just WRONG....you should not do that to ANY classic game (they're hard enough to find as it is!)....but TRON?!?!?!??!

He's not burning it becasue he doesn't like it, he burning it to give it a good, clean death. He's lamenting that the machine is a total loss so, instead of junking it in a pile of refuse, he's sending it on it's way to Video Game Heaven in a dignified manner.
We burn dead US Flags and Holy Bibles in the same manner.

I saw the picture itself as well. Looked like it may have gone through hell and back from what was described on the link. "Sign" Too back we couldn't save it from an unlikely tragety.

You'd think that at least SOME of it could be saved. Ya know, take parts off of it to help fix other Tron machines. The cabnet could have been used to house some sort of MAME thing maybe?
