Watched Legacy again last night (Yay! ), and I spotted something interesting:

When Sam is in the Arcade he sees the Tron game and walks over to it. He puts the coin in (which falls out) and then sees the groves in the floor, and realising that the machine moves he moves it to reveal the door.
The thing is, if you look carefully in the background, you'll see ANOTHER Tron game machine, one that has the word DISK written on it.

I only noticed that last night!

If anyone can get any screencaps of that even better. buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

I watched it again last night, and in that scene where Sam gets picked up by the Recognizer and looks up to see the pilot flying it I noticed that the controls are the exact same swivel-handle design has the original Recognizers.

I never noticed that before. buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

I noticed after my third watch, that there is a sound before the lightcycle match that is from the classic Tron arcade game (I'll try to find it, but if someone finds it before me it's cool)buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

That's awesome! I wonder if she was reading Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky in Russian as well. And how many languages she (and Flynn) know. Or does Flynn have to know the language (i.e. French) to make it manifest in the Grid? Which would mean that pre-sage Flynn was bilingual, which I never would have considered previously.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

It was probably one of these, which are pretty much the holy grail of arcade collectibles:

My guess is no, no Russian. Sam looks at the bookshelf and reads off the authors, so unless he reads Russian, those books were probably in English. Ah, no, they are in English; see Crime and Punishment in the foreground:
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152058#top_display_media

^See in this pic that he's also got Pollyanna (to the very left). Strange choice. Also notice that in the nearer pile of books lying on their side, under what looks like another quartz pyramid, the top book almost looks like the title on the spine is in some Asian language? I could be wrong though as it's so blurry.

And I believe she's reading other Verne in English:
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152067#top_display_media

Of course, it's also possible that the only edition of the book that had the look of the binding that they wanted was in French and they hoped we wouldn't notice... but I find that unlikely as it seems we purposely got a closeup. Perhaps they mean that to be part of why the Isos are "wise," because they know other languages (which could have been picked up from any language programs loaded into the system, I suppose)? I would find it hard to believe that Flynn would know very many, though. Look, the dude was a smart computer geek, but it doesn't mean he's a genius at everything. Especially since many people I know who are smart in things like math and science, aren't so hot in the language department; it's not their focus. It's possible he may've picked up some French somewhere, studied it in school (or I guess if you have a thousand cycles, you can learn whatever the hell you want), but I doubt the dude knows multiple languages.

More screencaps (hard to read titles but the characters for most do look English):
Wuthering Heights in the foreground (why you'd want to rez in with that book is beyond me):
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152054#top_display_media

I think I see Silas Marner (third from the left):
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152062#top_display_media

Is that a quartz point on the pile of books lying on their sides in the middle??
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152056#top_display_media
Also, continuity:
In this pic, there appears also to be a quartz pyramid in front of the pile of books lying on their side (hard to tell as it's glowing in the light but look close):
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152054#top_display_media
But in the pic above it's on top of the pile of books, next to the point.

It does look like Flynn has quartz all over his bookcase; I see points and pyramids, and way to the left, what looks like a cluster. I think he's getting some of his new-age stuff mixed up, but okay.

Tron Wiki has some great pictures of Jordan:

http://tron.wikia.com/wiki/Jordan_Canas/Gallery

Although again it doesn't quite explain why Sam appears much older then he should be. :-P

Can I just say that's a great shot of the map there! There's lots of great detail on that (like the keys hanging up....).buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

Aha, that was where I'd seen other pics of Jordan and Sam. It just hit me one day-- wait, Sam is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too old for that to work. (LOL kinda makes me want to write a quick Halloween short about how Flynn takes a picture of Sam and when they get it developed, Jordan's in the shot...)

(I wonder who the woman in the pics really is. Maybe actually the mother of the kid who played Sam?)

I do like some of the details they put in, though. I've looked very closely at some of the pictures of the different scenes to get ideas for writing, from analyzing the layout of Sam's apartment to what he's got on the walls and in the fridge (Kikkoman soy sauce), the arcade, Sam's bedroom as a kid, etc. I think it'd be a ton of fun to be a set designer if they sort of gave you free reign to decide what you put in the scene; you can sort of shape a character that way and wonder how many people notice the details you put in... and of course the screen shots make it easy to look around.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

Looking for something else in the screencaps when I noticed that on Dillinjr's screen is an option that says either "flynn_$" or "flynn_8"-- can't tell which. Wonder what that's all about...
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=150782#top_display_media

And this one isn't so much a "small detail" as it makes me wonder-- note that the biometric reader in the bottom right corner has a pattern of circuitry. Yet another subtle suggestion that people and programs aren't so different, after all? (a person's unique fingerprints vs. a program's unique circuitry pattern.)

Here's something I recently spotted:

After Sam rescues Quorra onboard the Rectifier-and jumps through the window of Clu's ship and lands safely-they get onboard the stolen Lightjet.
And has they take off Flynn says to Quorra "You've got this, Quorra. Remember, IT'S ALL IN THE WRISTS".
This, has we all know, is what he said in the original movie when we see him playing at the Arcade machine.

Also, in the end credits, it does say that two of the characters we see are BARTEK and SHADDOX, both of whom appear in Uprising and Betrayal (respectivly).

I know this has already been mentioned elsewhere on this forum, but I was wondering if anyone knows exactly where abouts they appear? buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

I believe Bartik was supposed to be the guy in the club who's telling Castor he wants to see Zuse, and who later yells "RESIST!" when the bad guys show up.

Shaddox... no idea. And I kept wondering what happened to him after T:B. He simply falls off the radar.

Okay. So according to IMDB, I was right about Bartik. But Shaddix (not Shaddox) was Lisberger behind the bar. So not the same character as in T:B, unless he magically went from being beefy and black to a skinny white guy. So I assume the name was merely a nod to the graphic novel.

Nice catches on the book titles, Kat.

Looking at that first screenshot, I see Don Quixote sandwiched between Polyanna and Crime and Punishment (the spine reads "Miguel de Cervantes" on the top line and "Don Quixote" beneath, though it's extremely blurry. I think you're right about the book beneath the pyramid in the foreground being in an Asian language - it looks like hiragana and kanji to me, which would make it Japanese, but it's too blurry to make out for certain, let alone tell what it says. The gold plate on the spine three books down from the pyramid in the foreground reads, The History of England.

Looking at
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152054, I can make out Wuthering Heights, Daisy Miller, and something by Thomas Hardy.

I can only imagine what Quorra's mental image of the User world must be like based on the reading she's done...

Here's an interesting one. Take a look at http://www.homeofthenutty.com/movies/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=140&pid=152057. The second book to the right of The History of England is partially obscured by the book in front of it, but it looks like "(B or P)_______________al Disorders". The word before it could be either "behavioral" or "psychological". I wonder... was Flynn already worried about Clu's state of mind before the coup, and trying to get a better handle on what might be wrong with him?buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

No idea. I think I see "behaviorial" but I'm not sure the second word is "disorders." But I can barely read them, so my imagination may be filling in plenty.

I wonder if the books are truly meant to mean something, or were those just the books they found that had the look they wanted and we were never meant to look that close? LOL.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

Which is funny, since I'm reasonably confident about the "disorders", but wasn't sure about the "behavioral". So I'm going to go with "Behavioral Disorders", then.

I don't know if the set designer just grabbed things that had the right look or if the choice of books was intended to be significant. As far as the psych book goes, I'll admit I rather like the idea that Flynn had begun to feel like something was a bit off about Clu prior to his coup. As Clu was patterned after Flynn himself, it would make sense for him to approach any anomalous behavior as a psychological problem rather than a code issue (especially since I imagine Clu's complexity being orders of magnitude greater than the average program, given how he was created.) There's a story in there somewhere... I really ought to try my hand at writing fanfic one of these days. >.>buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online

I assumed it was Shaddox because both names were spelt almost the same.

I am curious has to why they chose Bartek for that scene-in Uprising he and Hopper were pretty much in league with the Occupation (seeing how much contact they had with Paige in particular), and yet in that scene he talks about the revolution quite enthusiastically, which is strange.
It would be interesting to see at what point (and where) he changed his mind and turned his back on Paige.

In consideration, I think Cutler would have been more appropiate for that scene, because he was much more supporting towards the Revolution.buy viagra onlinehttp://www.bilimselbilisim.com/haberler_detay.aspx?id=42 viagra online
