TRON: LEGACY - SHIVA LASER PROP AT DISNEY STUDIOS

Last night I attended a second screening of twenty five minutes of footage from TRON: LEGACY on the Disney Studio Lot in Burbank, California -- and it was every bit as impressive as the first time when I viewed it this past Saturday at Digital Domain in Venice, California -- the Academy Award Winning visual effects company who is producing TRON: LEGACY's VFX. The visuals in the film are truly striking to behold... and the footage also included nuanced, character driven moments. I can't go into all of the specifics of what I saw -- but rest assured, this is one finely crafted cinematic sci-fi/fantasy world with intriguing characters... and it left me wanting to see more each time...!
There was then a reception after last night's screening, and the full size light cycle that has been displayed at many movie related conventions was present, as well as the life size statue of Sam Flynn in Warrior attire. The Shiva Laser prop that was used in TRON: LEGACY (and that was used at the recent Comic-Con ARG event in Kevin Flynn's secret office behind the TRON arcade machine) was also on display. This was a very unique opportunity to see it in this fashion, and I was able to view it from all angles. I shot some photos of this iconic TRON prop with my cell phone -- check 'em out. - Jay
